An Interview with our First Parents and Student!

When Chris Memorial School first opened its doors in May 2001, Mr. and Mrs. Sowah were the first to entrust their child to their care. They have remained dear friends of the school ever since. When the school closed for renovations and was scheduled to reopen in May 2021, Mr. and Mrs. Sowah were the first again to pick up forms for their youngest blessing from God.

Why did they choose us in the first place? How have they seen the school develop over the years? Why do they continue to recommend us to all and sundry? And what hopes do they have for us in the future? Stay tuned to find out in an exclusive interview with our first parents Mr. and Mrs. Sowah and their son, now a final year student majoring in Social Science at the University of Legon.

What made you choose Chris Memorial over more established schools?

Mr Sowah: I knew the proprietress Mrs. Kotei already. I knew her personality and what she was capable of doing, so my wife and I decided to take the chance and try her school.

Do you feel you benefited from the education you got here?

Nii Adjei: Definitely. When I went on to primary school and beyond, I had a very solid foundation in things like reading and maths, so I never had any trouble with my lessons and I did very well. Other people who came here say the same.
