About Us

Chris Memorial School was founded on 3rd May, 2001 by Mrs Mary A. Kotei, an educator and former homemaker, to realize her dream of establishing a high-quality day nursery in the Dansoman area.

The name “Chris Memorial” was taken to honor the memory of her late husband, Dr. Christoper Nikoi Kotei, who shared her dream but did not live to see it realized.

The school ran uninterrupted, providing excellent care and services, until the COVID-19 pandemic shut schools from March 2020 to January 2021. We took a further break until May 2021 for renovations and upgrades before reopening. Now we are back and even better than ever. We look forward to serving you and your family!

At Chris Memorial, our mission is to provide safe, high-quality care services for young children. We aim to raise them up to be responsible, well-educated and well-rounded citizens of global society. But above all, we want them to have fun, learn a lot, make a lot of friends, and enjoy the happiness and wonder that comes from being a child!

Our staff are highly-trained professionals dedicated to providing the best possible care for your child. We also have a large compound with plenty of shade where children can run, play and explore safely. Furthermore, we keep class sizes small so that we can provide plenty of individual attention for each and every child.

Over the years they’ve told us how much they love our affordable services that give children an excellent educational foundation.
